This incredible collection of New York Yankees "World Series" and "American League" Champions Rings belonged to Del Webb (former Owner of the New York Yankees 1945-1964). Collection consists of 15 Championship Rings (10 "World Series" and 5 "American League" Champions), including his Black Jewelry Box Initialed in Gold (D.E.W.), as well as his 1949 New York Yankees "World Series" Champions 10K Gold, with Real Diamond, Ruby, and Sapphire, Money Clip ("Del Webb" engraved on back), and a New York Yankees Ring he made special for his wife. Ring size varies between 10 1/2 and 11. While all Yankees Rings (especially those of a Yankees owner) are greatly prized, many collectors hold the 1953 and 1961 rings in highest regard. The 1953 ring commemorates the Yankees unprecedented fifth consecutive "World Series" Championship and is designed with a large "5" on top. The 1961 ring commemorates what is one of the most legendary and celebrated teams in baseball history, only rivaled, perhaps by the 1927 Yankees.
